Patsy Moore

Patsy Pauline Moore, 78, of Mebane passed away at home on January 1, 2016. She was born in Roxboro on November 12, 1937 to the late Molly Sue Holt Paul and Jessie Lewis Paul. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Elbert Anderson Moore; sister, Katy Mae Coates. Patsy was retired from Dixie Yarn of Mebane and Attended Central Baptist Church of Mebane. Those left to cherish her memory are sons, Rickey Anderson Moore and wife Lynn Bodine of Mebane, Roger Lee Moore, of Mebane; grandson, Houston Tyler Moore and wife Kristy of Mebane; granddaughter, Ashlyn Bodine; a niece whom she thought of like a daughter, Lynn Sykes Hudson and husband Mike of Mebane; sisters, Inez Crabtree of Hopewell, VA, Jenny Mace and husband Dwight of Mebane and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be at Noon on Tuesday January 5 at Oak Grove UMC Cemetery in Roxboro with Pastor Mike Faust officiating. A visitation will be held at Walker's Funeral Home of Mebane from 5:30 - 7:30 on Monday January 4, 2016. The family will receive visitors at the home at other times.
