Patricia Faye Carmichael

Patricia Faye Hoggard Carmichael, 76, of 4289 Alpine Lane, Liberty, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. She was born in Halifax County to Delbert Earl Hoggard Sr and Ella Keeter Hoggard, both deceased. Patricia is survived by three children, Elaine Stuart(Alan); Ellen Hill(Scott), and Rick Ezzell(Libby); she is also survived by her eight grandchildren, Jeffrey Wright, Dana Sherwood, Alicia Ezzell, Robert Ezzell, Patricia Harris, Rickie Ezzell and Jeanna Frisk also 13 great grandchildren and many others that called her “Granny”. Patricia is also survived by her siblings, Earl Hoggard Jr., Wayne Hoggard, Danny Hoggard, Ricky Hoggard, Elizabeth Joyner, Delores Brown and Debbie McBroom. Faye also raised five of her siblings. She was preceded in death by one son, Gene Ezzell and a grandson, Josh Denton; and also by two siblings, brother Redmond Hoggard and a sister Judy Hoggard. A Memorial Service will be held at Walker’s Funeral Home in Mebane on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 12:00pm with the Rev. Andy Clapp officiating, with the family receiving friends from 11:00am – 12:00pm prior to the service.
