Nina McAdams Clements

Nina McAdams Clements, 77, of Durham, NC, passed away while surrounded by loved ones on February 25, 2025 after a difficult battle with Alzheimer's.

Nina was born on September 17, 1947, to the late Eugene Franklin McAdams, Jr. and Iva Josie Lee Marbrey McAdams. She was preceded in death by her only son, Clint Edward Clements, and her sister, Martha Nell Guill.

She is survived by her daughters, Alena Clements Wood ( husband, Jacob Wood) of Efland, and Sandi Clements of Durham; grandson, Jared Clint Wood of Efland; granddaughters, Malia and Makea Clements of Durham.

Nina's greatest passion in life was her family, and nothing brought her more joy than being "Grammie" to her grandchildren. She found joy in simple pleasures- words puzzles, cross-stitching, painting, collecting her treasured Longaberger baskets, and spending time in her beautifully decorated country home.

She was a devoted member of Gorman Baptist Church for many years and loved her Lord, her Church, and her Church family. Though she will be deeply missed, her loved ones take comfort in knowing that she is now rejoicing in her heavenly home.

A graveside service will be held at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens on March 3, 2025. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Gorman Baptist Church or the Alzheimer's Association in her memory.
