Nellie Parrish

Mrs. Nellie Hughes Fields Parrish, 83, died Thursday, September 21, 2017. She was a native of Vance County where she attended school. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Parrish. She lived most of her life in Hillsborough until she moved to Spencer, NC, to be near her family. Surviving are her son, Charles Parrish (Christy), her daughter, Shelia Wheeley (Andy), her brother, Eddie Fields, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, brother-in-law Jack Parrish (Ruth), and son-in-law Johnny Brogden. She was predeceased by her daughter Brenda Brogden. The funeral service will be held 2 PM Sunday in Walker's Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 12-2 PM Sunday in the funeral home.
