Mills Benjamin Piland

Mills Benjamin “Ben” Piland, 92, of Mebane, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Mr. Piland was born on December 14, 1928 to Mr. Hollis Benjamin Piland and Nellie Jones Piland, both deceased and he was the husband of the late Malinda Ratliff Piland. Mr. Piland was involved in Auto Mechanics and was a member of Hawfields Presbyterian Church. Mr. Piland is survived by three children, William Benjamin Piland and wife Kathy, Malinda Jane Barfield and husband Scott and Donald Lee Piland. He is also survived by his 4 grandchildren. Mr. Piland was preceded in death by his two sisters and one brother. A Graveside service to celebrate the life of Mills Benjamin “Ben” Piland will be held in the Hawfields Presbyterian Church Cemetery on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 1:00 pm with the Rev. David Ealy officiating. Walker’s Funeral Home of Mebane is serving the Piland Family.
