Michael Wilson

Burlington - Mr. Michael Wilson, 70, husband of Jeanene A. Wilson, died unexpectedly Saturday afternoon. Mike was born and raised in Burlington, NC. He was educated at Williams High School and graduated from Elon University. For many years, Mike was employed by Alamance County, retiring in 2015. In addition to his wife of 33 years, Mike is survived by his son, Matthew Chilton, and his wife, Olivia, of Burlington; daughter, Michelle Wilson, of Graham; grandchildren, Andrew and Andrea Chilton; and his niece, Dianna Miller Wheeler. Mike was preceded in death by his mother, May Joyce Wilson, and his sister, Vicky Perry Miller. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 2:00pm at Kinnett Memorial Baptist Church, 1106 E. Morehead Drive, Burlington. Officiating was Rev. Don Peg. Burial followed at Pine Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Kinnett Memorial Baptist Church. Walker's Funeral Home of Mebane is in charge of the arrangements.
