Mary Ellen Fox

Mary Fox age 93 of Hillsborough, NC passed peacefully at home with loved ones around her on Tuesday December 29, 2020. She was well known and loved for her work at the Orange County Health Department and as an Office manager at HR block. She was an active member of the Garden Club, and gave tours for the Historical Society. She loved riding in the rain, going through the mountains, going on cruises with her friends, and spending time with her family. She always had a smile for everyone. She was pre-deceased by her loving husband James Fox ll,her sister Shirley Dunn, and her brother Buddy Stephens. She leaves behind her sons Joseph Warren Self, James Fox lll (Dana), grandchildren Spencer, Holly, and Nick. Also her adopted family, Bob and Donna MacIntyre, their children, and grandchildren. A Memorial Service is yet to be determined.
