Marilyn Jean Warren

Marilyn Jean Warren, 74, of Hillsborough passed away peacefully at home on January 14, 2025 after a prolonged illness. She was born in Durham, the daughter of the late John Wesley Bragg and Bettie Glenn Bragg. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Warren is preceded in death by her brothers, Clifton Bragg, Elbert Bragg and Jerry Bragg; and sisters, Doris Lane and Bonnie Mulchi. 

Marilyn is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jerry Wayne Warren; sons, Randy Warren and wife Melissa, Tony Warren and wife Amanda; grandsons, Brice Warren, Brennan Warren, Carter Warren, Tyler Lloyd, and Dylan Herndon; granddaughters, Alysann Marrs and Brooke King; one great granddaughter, Paisley Rose Warren and one great grandson, Kooper Lee.

Mrs. Warren retired from SunTrust Bank. She also worked at Trinity Builders for many years. 

Marilyn was extremely devoted to her family and treasured her children and grandchildren. She was loved by all who knew her. Prior to her illness, she enjoyed traveling, especially to the beach and the mountains.

Per the decedent’s wishes, there will not be any services but she will be greatly missed.
