Margaret Ann Miller

Chapel Hill - Mrs. Margaret McCarthy Miller, 75, wife of Gary E. Miller, died March 19, 2020 at her home. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Miller is survived by her son, Michael Raymond Miller, and his wife, Joann Impallaria, of Warren. MA; daughter, Shannon Hathaway, of Chapel Hill; grandchildren, Timothy Dalton Hathaway, and his wife, Alison Beals Hathaway, John Miller Hathaway, and his fiancée, Audrey Jenson; great grandchildren, Finn Michael Hathaway, Sullivan Augustine Hathaway; sister, Sheila McCarthy Rees, and her husband, Francis William Rees, of W. Brookfield, MA; and several nieces nad nephews. The family will receive visitors at their home, on Saturday, March 21, 2020 from 3:00 - 6:00 pm. A private graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2020. The family is planning a public memorial service to be held at a date and place to be announced. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to UNC Hospice, 287 East Street, #221, Pittsboro, NC 27312; Second Chance Animal Shelter, 111 Young Road, E.
