Margaret Carolyn Kueider

Peg Kueider, 86, of 524 N. Carr Street, Mebane, passed away on February 9, 2021 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Born on March 3, 1934 to Dwight L. Bryan and Mary Ellen Cozort Bryan, both deceased, she was also the wife of the late Walter G. Kueider. She was awarded the Eastern Star and was a longtime faithful member of over 60 years to the Mebane United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School. Peg is survived by her five children, Michael Kueider and wife Barbara of Mebane, Peggy McCoy and husband Bryan of Supply, North Carolina; Stephen Kueider and wife Shelby of Mebane, Scott Kueider and wife Sandra of Oak Ridge, North Carolina and Jimmy Kueider of Mebane. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jesse, Lauren, Patrick, Cedric, Nikki, Alexandra, Joshua, Benjamin and Caroline and also by her nine great grandchildren. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the family has chosen to have a service at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to Mebane United Methodist Church or to St. Jude’s Hospital in memory of Peg. Walker’s Funeral Home of Mebane is serving the Kueider Family.
