Macy Bree Coggins

Macy Bree Coggins, 28, of Mebane left this world on May 23, 2023 at her home. She was the daughter of Mike Coggins, Lisa Cook and step-father Roy Cook.

Left to cherish her memory are her brother, Michael Coggins and wife Jessica, their children, Brayleigh, Remi and Willa. Her brother, Jonathon Cook and his son Luther. The love of her life for seven years, Jody Russ. Her grandparents, Jerry and Brenda Merritt and Wayne(deceased) and Linda Coggins. Her aunt and uncle, Johnny and Lori Carpenter. Her step-brother, Jason and his daughter Christine Cook. Her step-sister, April and husband Brad, their children, Brianna, Abby and Conner. Her step-brother Brian and wife Ashley, their children Carson and Maddie.

Macy had a beautiful soul and touched the lives of so many. You could never be sad if she was in the room with you. Anyone that knew her was truly blessed. She loved her family with all of her heart. She loved nature, animals, working with wood and she never left a thrift store without a great find. One of her greatest loves was when she and Jody would go driving off in the Mustang, which often included a good burnout. She was truly one of a kind.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2023 from 1:00 – 2:00pm at Walker’s Funeral Home in Mebane with a Memorial Service to be held at 2:00pm in the Funeral Home Chapel.
