Larry Riggsbee, Jr.

Larry H. Riggsbee Jr, age 62, passed away May 8th, 2019 in Chapel Hill, NC. Born in Chapel Hill, NC, Larry graduated from Chapel Hill High School and attended East Carolina University. After college he moved to Charlotte, where he lived and raised his family for 20 years. He had a natural love for working outdoors and a gift for being loyal to others. Working for several years as a Service Manager for Carolina Building Group, these qualities shone through, and he was great at his job. True to his loyal nature, he later moved back to Chapel Hill to help take care of his parents, who he loved immensely. He was well known for his deep passion for sports, cars and all kinds of music; especially Bruce Springsteen. Larry is survived by his daughter, Ashley Cress and husband Brandon of Charlotte, NC, son Adam Riggsbee and wife Ashley, and their two children, Ava and Mason, of Chapel Hill, NC. Funeral arrangements will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, May 13, 2019 at Walker Funeral Home, Chapel Hill NC. Walker's Funeral Home of Chapel Hill has been entrusted to care for the Riggsbee family.
