Larry Cox

Larry Lee Cox, 56, formerly of Hillsborough, NC was called to his heavenly home after a courageous lifelong battle dealing with childhood cancer and injuries suffered in an accident 29 years ago. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Ruby Cox and a brother John Cox, his grandparents and multiple aunts and uncles. He is survived by a son, Jason Cox of Belmont, NC; a daughter, Erin Carter of Durham; a sister, Deborah Cox Fox (Willie) of Graham; two nieces, Amanda Fox of Graham, Scarlette Cox of Durham and one nephew, William Fox (Meredith) of Burlington; a host of Aunts and Uncles; Bertha Carter (Jim), Janet Lovett of Hillsborough, Callie Stuart (Archie (AD)) of Richmond, VA, James (JT) Lovett (Darlene) of Hermitage, TN, Bobbie Cox, Dean Cox, Edward Cox (Brenda), Nancy Hickey and Sue Morton all of Campbell County, TN. There will be a graveside service for him on Saturday, May 9th at 11:00 am at Mars Hills Baptist Church Cemetery in Hillsborough, NC. In Lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Mars Hill Baptist Cemetery Fund or to Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell 914 Chapel Hill Rd, Burlington, NC 27215. Walker's Funeral home of Hillsborough is in charge of arrangements.
