June Carol Slaton

June Carol Slaton, 75, of Mebane, passed away on November 12, 2022 at Brookdale Memory Care in Burlington. June was the wife of the Ernest Slaton and the daughter of Frank Young and Ena Mae Young all deceased. June was loved by everyone who knew her.

June is survived by a son, Mickey Mayton and wife Gail of Mebane, daughter Tammy Robinson and husband Kevin of Graham, grandchildren are Bridget, Heather, Kimberly, Makenzie and Tori, five great grandchildren, sister Shelia Sykes of Mebane.

June is preceded in death by her brothers Ricky Young and Frankie Young, sister Jody Young.

A funeral service will be held Friday, November 18, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Walker’s Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane with the family receiving friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Following the service the burial will be held at Mebane Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave. Floor 17, Chicago, Illinois 60601.
