Hillsborough - Mrs. June Frances Vincent Fife, 75, died Friday, June 26, 2015. She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School, Watts Hospital School of Nursing, and Watts Hospital School of Nurse Anesthesia. She worked at Watts Hospital, Durham Regional Hospital and VA Hospital. She was a veteran of the U.S. Army. She performed many volunteer hours working with the 4-H groups of Orange, Durham, and Chatham Counties. She had two show horses, one Arabian and one Gelding. She belonged to the Piedmont Horse Association, the NC Horse Council, and the Triangle Wide Horseman's Association. Surviving are her husband, Thad Fife, two sisters, Ginger V. Bayless (Charles) and Barbara V. Pope, two nieces, Terri Pope and Noni Dunnagan, two nephews, Joel Pope and Brandon Bayless, adopted son, Lee Vincent, and special dog, Ziva. She was predeceased by her parents Elene Tillett and Charlie Vincent, and one sister, Nancy Vincent. The memorial service will be held 4 PM Wednesday in Walker's Funeral Home Chapel by Ellie Allen.
