Julia O'Mahony

September 30, 1932 — January 7, 2018

Mrs. Julia Rose O'Mahony, wife of the late Michael Finbar O'Mahony, died Sunday evening at Chatham Ridge Assisted Living in Chapel Hill. Mrs. O'Mahony is survived by her children, Rose O'Mahony, and her husband, Michael Crimmins, of Chapel Hill, NC, Kathleen P. Muha, and her husband, Joseph, of Perrineville, NJ, Eoin W. O'Mahony, and his wife, Pamela, of Saxapahaw, NC; brother, Stephen Montgomery, sister, Mary McConville, both of Cork County, Ireland; and grandchildren, Julie Crimmins, Allison Crimmins, Liam O'Mahony, Sean O'Mahony, Meave Muha, Ella Muha, and Patrick Muha. In addition to her husband, who preceded her in death in December, 2017, Mrs. O'Mahony was also preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Montgomery. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00AM on Monday, January 15, 2018 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 940 Carmichael Road, Chapel Hill. Burial will follow in St. Matthew's Catholic Church Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, DC, 20090. www.alz.org.
