Judy Mcphail Gerringer

Mrs. Judy F. Gerringer of Burlington passed away at her home on Wednesday May 12, 2021. A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Johnny Frederick Gerringer and the daughter of Joseph David McPhail and Francis Adgie McPhail, both deceased. She retired from Burlington Industries-Pioneer Plant after 47 years of service as a Chemical Lab Technician. Survivors include a son, Rodney Gerringer and wife, Cindy, Granddaughter’s, Tiffany Johnson and children and Tamra Roberts and children. Sister-in-law, Shelby McPhail, nephew, Timmy McPhail and wife, Ann and Niece, Cathy McPhail. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kerry, only brother, David “Mogan” McPhail and a great granddaughter, Natalie Major. There will be a Memorial service on Saturday May 15, 2021 at 11:00am at Walker Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane, the family will receive friends after the service in the Chapel. There will be a private graveside service held at Alamance Memorial Park at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cone Health Cancer Center at Alamance. Walker’s Funeral Home of Mebane is serving the Gerringer Family.
