Juanita Murphy Harward

Juanita Murphy Harward, 79, Mebane, passed away on February 18th at her home surrounded by loved ones.



She was the wife of the late Paul Forrest Harward. Juanita was a member of Mebane Presbyterian Church for many years. She was a staple in the Mebane community, showing love to others by her home-cooking as the owner of Arrowhead Restaurant and then eventually Nita’s Cafe. She also loved vacationing to the beach, fishing,gospel music, spending time with her family and most of all spoiling her Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.



She is survived by Sons Barry and Petie Harward (Patty), Grandchildren Josh Harward (Kasey), April Morton (Ricky), and Amy Stegall (Keith). Brother, Benny Murphy, many nieces and nephews and 9 beloved Great-Grandchildren.



In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Alamance County.



The Graveside Service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery on Monday February 21st at 11:00 am. The family will receive visitors after the service at her home 3115 Brook Valley Court Mebane, NC 27302.
