Joseph Pilarski

Mr. Joseph Carl Pilarski, 61, died Sunday, January 20, 2019. He was a native of Orange County and attended the Chapel Hill Schools. He was a beekeeper and sold honey. He enjoyed working with the bees and his family. Surviving are his father, Jerome M. Pilarski, Sr., two sisters: Karen P. Herndon and Katherine P. Scott, and his brother, Marty Pilarski. He was predeceased by his mother, Doris Bradshaw Pilarski. The graveside service will be held 11 AM Saturday, January 26, in Westwood Cemetery, Carrboro. The family will receive family and friends following the service at 3214 Elva Lane, Chapel Hill. The Pilarski family is under the care of Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough.
