Jesse Keene

Hillsborough - Mr. Jesse Junior Keene, 74, died Wednesday, February 10, 2016. He was a native of West Virginia and attended West Virginia schools. He operated heavy equipment in construction. He moved to NC in 1991 and was employed by Maners Brothers Equipment. He married Annie Sykes and moved to the Orange Grove Community where they lived until his death. Surviving are his wife Annie S. Keene, his son, Jesse Junior Keene, II (Jennifer), his daughter, Pam Elkins. two sisters: Rosemary K. Lafferty (Gene) and Susan K. Sloan, four brothers: David Keene, Homer Keene (Becky), Donnie Keene (Bennie), and Harold Keene, and one grandchild. He was predeceased by his parents, Cortia and Jesse J. Keene, and three sisters. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Sunday at Gospel Baptist Tabernacle Cemetery by Pastor David Bolick. Visitation will be 2-2:50 PM Sunday in the church. Walkersfuneralservice.com
