Jerry Allen Blalock

Mr. Jerry Allen Blalock, 85, of Efland, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Mr. Blalock was the husband of Kitty Mazie Tate Blalock who survives and the son of Hugh Allen Blalock and Pansy Cochran Blalock, both deceased. Mr. Blalock graduated from Aycock High School in Cedar Grove and he retired from North Carolina State University Dairy Processing Center and was a farmer. Other than his wife of the home, survivors include, four sons; Larry and wife Cadie of Efland, Sammy and wife Ruby of Mebane, Joel Blalock of Efland and Jerry “Andy” and fiancé Beth of Efland. He is survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister Patsy Hill of Efland. Jerry was preceded in death by a son, Keith, one grandchild, Cory and a great grand-daughter, Leanna Russell. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Blalock. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Zion Christian Church, 3210 Mt. Zion Church Rd. Mebane, North Carolina on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at 2:00pm with Mr. Randy Harris officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Jim and Betsy Bryan Hospice Home of UNC Healthcare, 100 Roundtree Way, Pittsboro, North Carolina 27312. Walker’s Funeral Home of Mebane is serving the Blalock Family.
