Jerome M. Pilarski, Sr.

Mr. Jerome Marcel Pilarski, 93, of Carrboro, died at the VA Hospital in Durham, NC on Friday, December 4, 2020. He is survived by his children, two daughters, Katherine Scott and Karen Herndon; one son, Marty Pilarski; three grandchildren, Jeremiah Pilarski, Charity Mcdonald and Harold Herndon, Jr.; three great grandchildren, Abigail and Caleb Mcdonald and Harland Herndon. Jerome was preceded in death by his wife Doris Bradshaw Pilarski and one son Joe Pilarski. Funeral services will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Chapel Hill on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 9am. Interment will follow at Westwood Cemetery in Carrboro. The family will receive visitors at the home of Harold and Karen Herndon on Thursday afternoon. Friends may sign the register book and pay their respects at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Knights of Columbus, Coucil 10910 c/o Catholic Community of St. Thomas More, 940 Carmichael St., Chapel Hill, NC 27514.
