ALAMANCE COUNTY
MEBANE - Mrs. Jeanette Faye Tatem Cecil, 65, of 2567 South N.C. 119, Lot 4, Mebane, NC, died Wednesday, February 1, 2012 in Alamance Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Cecil was born on March 15, 1946 in Norfolk County, VA, daughter of the late Benjamin Thomas and Bessie Elizabeth Tatem and wife of the late Sam Henry Cecil, Sr. She was preceded in death by one brother: Harold Tatem.
She is survived by one son: Paul James King III; daughters: Sandra F. Johnson, Sherry A. King, and Margaret A. Peters; brother: Benjamin T. Tatem, Jr; sister: Louise Ferguson, Evelyn Elliott, Elizabeth Ward, Shirley Charleston, and Mildred Rivera; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren also survives.
Graveside services will held 2:00 pm Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Chestnut Ridge United Methodist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Jon Faucette.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Saturday at Walker's Funeral Home of Mebane, 304 W. Center St., Mebane, NC 27278.
