Jean Hall

Jean Hayes Hall, 83 of Hillsborough passed away on May 4 at her home, Hall Hill Farm. She was born on July 28, 1931 in Hillsborough to the late William and Daisy Wilkins Hayes. She graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1950. After a career with Western Electric in Burlington and Winston-Salem, NC, Jean retired and enjoyed trips with her sisters, cousins and nieces. Jean was well known for her love of family and friends. In addition to her parents Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Warren H. Hall; son, Timothy Rhett Hall; sisters' Maxine H. Freeland, Merle H. Duncan, Rebecca Hayes, Molene H. Roberts, and by her brother, William E. "Chubby" Hayes, all of Hillsborough. Jean is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Hall of Hillsborough; sister, Sue H. Riley and her husband Ed; sisters-in-law; Aurelia T. Hayes and Dot H. Hall in addition to many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be held Friday May 8, 2015 from 12:30 - 1:30pm at Walker's Funeral Home in Hillsborough. A graveside service for Jean will be held at the Hillsborough Town Cemetery immediately following the visitation. In the event of inclement weather, the service will be held at Walker's Funeral Home chapel, Hillsborough.
