Janet Boatwright Wheeler

Janet Boatright Wheeler of Efland, North Carolina passed away at home March 16, 2020. She was originally from Durham, North Carolina and graduated from Southern High School. Janet retired from Major Business Systems of Hillsborough, NC. She was married to her soul mate and best friend, Russell Wheeler for 36 years. She is survived by her husband Clarence "Russell" Wheeler; stepson, Jeffery Russell Wheeler; stepdaughter, Jennifer Wheeler Sams, and husband Joseph D. Sams Jr.; brother, Dan Boatright, and sister, Sandra Boatright Davis. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ryan Jordan Wheeler, Kobe Lee Wheeler, and Charis Hayleigh Sams. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Joseph Boatright and mother Martha Percy Boatright, both of Durham, NC. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
