Janet Allen

Mrs. Janet Heineman Allen passed away on Friday evening September 13, 2019 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill Janet was one of the first women managers at IBM in Research Triangle Park. She was also heavily involved in politics and the Womens Movement. She will be missed by many. She leaves behind one son and an abundance of friends and colleagues. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:p.m. Sunday September 29, 2019 in the Assembly Hall at Carol Woods, 750 Weaver Dairy Rd. Chapel Hill NC 27514. Walker's Funeral Home in Chapel Hill is assisting the family.
