James “Jimmy” Wallace Wilson, 76, of Burlington, passed away, Friday, June 14, 2024, at his home.

Born, February 22, 1948, in Durham, North Carolina, he was the son of the late James R. Wilson and the late Doris Burton Wilson. Jimmy was a hard worker and spent many years installing insulation in commercial buildings. He enjoyed playing golf with his friends and spending time out on the lake with his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jean Carver Wilson of the home; son, Troy Wilson (Ellen); daughter, Renee Wilson; grandchildren, Cody Wilson (Kelsey) and Chandler Wilson (Rebeka); great-granddaughter, Audrey Ellen Wilson; brother, Phillip Wilson (Bonnie); sister, Debbie Windham; and numerous extended family members and friends.

A service to celebrate Jimmy’s life will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 13, 2024, in the chapel of Walker’s Funeral Home in Hillsborough with Rev. Joel Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials be directed to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, PO Box 758589, Topeka, KS 66675-8589.
