James Johnson

James "Randy" Johnson, age 55, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2019, at his home. He was born August 27, 1963, to the late Richard "Red" and Faye Johnson. He attended Orange County public schools. He worked as an auto technician for Crown Honda at Southpoint for 25 years until his retirement. He married his loving wife of 37 years, Sandra "Sandy" Johnson on May 4, 1989. He truly lived life to it's fullest through simple pleasures; fishing, gardening, spending time with his grandchildren and chatting with friends and family. He is survived by his wife, Sandy; 2 sons, Gary and Aidien; 3 daughters, April, Erica, and Chelsie; his brother Jeff Johnson; 10 grandchildren; 1 niece; and 2 nephews. He was predeceased by both of his parents and his 3 sisters Sharon, Lorrie, and Sandra. Family, friends and others whose lives Randy has touched are invited to Walkers Funeral Home, 204 N. Churton St., Hillsborough, NC 27278, from 6 PM-8 PM on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 for the viewing and at 2 PM on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 for the funeral. Pastor Ken Stanley will officiate. He will be laid to rest at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery. The Johnson family is under the care of Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough.
