He was the son of the late Grace and Robert C. Dick. He graduated from Mebane High School and attended UNC Chapel Hill. He retired from Duke Power Co. after 38 years of service. He enjoyed traveling all across the country and eating out. He was a very positive minded individual staying focused on the tasks he undertook. A graveside service will be held 2:30 PM Thursday at Oakwood Cemetery by the Rev. Dr. Jeff Smith.
