James Cannada

James Lester Cannada, 66, died Monday, December 24, 2018. He was born in Durham County and attended Orange County Schools. He married Linda Jean Barbee in 1973. James enjoyed working with car repairs since early childhood. He loved his Lord, family and friends. Surviving are his wife, Jean Barbee Cannada, one daughter, Debra Cannada, one sister, Linda C. Nipper of Concord, two brothers: Johnny Cannada of Efland and Wayne Cannada of Winston-Salem, and his mother-in-law, Lucille Barbee. He was predeceased by his parents: Genia and Charles Cannada and two brothers: Winford Cannada and Ricky Cannada. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, December 29, 2018 in Wayside Baptist Church by Pastor Brad Williams. Visitation will be 9:45-10:45 AM in the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Cannada family is under the care of Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough.
