James Beam

Reidsville - James "Jim" Allen Beam, 57, passed away on April 24, 2016. He was born in Bossier City, LA on March 20, 1959 to the late Barbara Faye Simmons Beam and Robert Leon Beam. In addition to his parents Jim was preceded in death by sister, Sue Beam; brother, Robert "Buddy" Beam; and step father Doug Romero. Jim was a loving husband, father and grandfather who never met a stranger. He was a veteran of the US Army. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 38 years Wanda Wilson Beam; daughters, Amy Massey and her husband Jeff of NC, Lisa Beam of NC; sisters Carol Wise of FL, Charlene Register of NC; grandchildren Summer Jefferson, Tyler Jefferson and Allen Jones all of NC. Service will be 2 PM Wednesday April 27 at Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough with Pastor Charles Register, I officiating. Visitation will be from 1 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
