Hurdle Mills - Mrs. Jacquelyn Frances Porterfield Parker, 84, died Friday, September 12, 2014. She was a native of Hoke County but came to Orange County at age three. She attended Hurdle Mills School. She was the widow of Marvin Parker. She retired from West Point Stephens. Surviving are her daughter, Media P. Dixon, two sons, Lane Marvin Parker and Clint Forrest Parker (Pennie) all of Hurdle Mills. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Ida Frances Porterfield and her husband. A memorial service will be held 2 PM Tuesday in Walker's Funeral Home Chapel, Hillsborough, NC. Walkersfuneralservice.com
