Hoyle King

Mebane - Hoyle Marshall King, 94, passed away March 10, 2016. He was born September 22, 1921 to the late Mary Carter King and Clifford Elmore King. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by wife, Lillian Weaver King; sister, Mildred Haithcock; brother, Leonard King. Hoyle was a native of Orange County and attended Orange County School. He worked for Durham Hosiery Mill until 1957 and then began Hoyle King Used Cars and Parts. Those left to cherish his memory include sons, Jimmy King and wife Linda of Mebane, Clifford Ray King and wife Linda of Mebane; daughter, Phyllis K Martin and husband Gordon of Mebane; grandchildren, Bryan King, Ray King, Jr., Todd King and wife Kimberly, Crystall King, Jonathan Martin; great grandchildren, Kameron and Kaleb King. Service will be 3 Pm Sunday March 13, 2016 at Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough with Pastor Keith Spake officiating. Burial will follow in Hawfield's Presbyterian Church cemetery, Mebane. Visitation will be 1:30 - 2:45 PM Sunday March 13, 2016 at the funeral home.
