HAW RIVER - Mrs. Helen Fay Horner Scott, 72, died Sunday, March 16, 2014. She was a native of Orange County and attended the Orange County schools. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved working and cooking. She was the world's greatest Nana. Surviving are her daughter, Fay Scott McPherson, Haw River, her son, Mark Ronie Scott, Haw River, her sister, Dolly Maxine H. Alegria (Paul), Graham, two brothers, Timothy Horner (Mary), Bolivia, NC, and Johnnie T. Parker, Jr. (Candy), Mebane, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Hepsi T. and Mack Horner, her sister, Lois Darline Bowman. Visitation will be 2-3 PM, Saturday, March 22, at Hillsborough Church of God.
