Helen Moore

Helen Veronica Moore of Chapel Hill passed away on March 11, 2015. She was the much beloved wife of Myles Moore. They had celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary in October. Helen was a native of Philadelphia, PA. She met Myles in 1971 in Connecticut, where they were both in graduate school. Myles has said, "I don't know where I would be today without her. Her faith and strength always helped me through difficult times throughout our life together." Helen loved children, especially her many nieces and nephews. She felt like a second mother to them when they were young. The family will have a visitation on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 7:00PM to 9:00PM at Walker's Funeral Home of Chapel Hill. A funeral mass will be on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 11:30AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery. Walker's Funeral Home of Chapel Hill is honored to serve the Moore family.
