Hazel Lacock

HAZEL LEE LACOCK Chapel Hill, Hazel Lee Lacock 90 passed away October 7 at Duke Hospital. Hazel was born in Chapel Hill, youngest daughter of the late Wilson Odell and Elizabeth Ann Lacock. She was preceded in death by her brothers J.Vernon Lacock and Carl W. Lacock, sister Helen L. Lacock, and Step Mother Ellen D. Lacock. Hazel was life time member of College View Church of God. Hazel Retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield after 42 years of service as a department manager, she received her degree from UNC and was an avid Tar Heel Fan. Hazel is survived by her nieces Kimi Dew, Renee Gleason, Jeanette Haddock, Donna Hardee, and Anne Odenath. Nephews, Robert Dew, Bill Gleason, Ted Odenath, Great nieces Holly Dew, Sharon Sfiligoil, Erica Marra,Great Nephews, Burton Dew, Spencer Dew, Michael Haddock, David Haddock, and Jay Hardee, and 8 Great- Great-nephews and nieces, and her beloved cat "Callie" The family will receive friends Sunday October 11 2:00 Walkers Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, 3:00 service.
