Guerry O'Briant

Efland, NC - Mr. Guerry Winston O'Briant, 69, died Saturday, August 6, 2016 at The Hawfields Presbyterian home. Mr O'Briant was born January 2, 1947 in Greenville, SC to the late Ralph and Felsie O'Briant. He was preceded in death by his brother Leon O'Briant. Mr. O'Briant is survived by his wife of 22 years Marie Miniestero; his sister, Alene Thomas and Husband Danny of Durham and his sister Linda Justice and husband Alan of Timberlake. Mr. O'Briant is also survived by one niece, three nephews, and his canine friend Willie. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Walker's Funeral Home, Hillsborough, NC followed by a Memorial service at 2:00 PM in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The Bluefield Project to cure Frontotemporal Dementia, 637 Carolina St. San Francisco, CA 94107 in Mr. O'Briant's memory.
