Geraldine Phillips

Mrs. Geraldine Faye Wilson Phillips, 89, died Thursday, May 10, 2018. She was born in Orange County and attended the Orange County Schools. Mrs. Phillips was employed at Bel-Vue Mills for over thirty years. She married the late Homer Phillips in 1945, and they had six children. Mrs. Phillips was a very caring person for her family, friends, and especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Stokes; sons, Dwight Phillips and his wife, Aimee, Wayne Phillips, and his wife, Brenda, and Kenny Phillips, and his wife, Cynthia; 16 grandchildren, sister-in-law, Dianne Phillips, and numerous great and great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by two children, one sister, four brothers, and one great great grandchild. A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Walker's Funeral Home, Hillsborough, officiating was Pastor Joel Jackson. Burial followed in Rosewood Cemetery. Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough is assisting the Phillips family.
