George Miller

Hurdle Mills - Mr. George Glenn Miller, 98, died Thursday, August 10, 2017. Glenn was born in Orange County and attended the Orange County schools. He worked on his family's dairy farm and later began working in carpentry and construction until retirement. Surviving are two sons: Worth Miller and Keith Miller, one daughter, Debra Miller Creekmore, five grandchildren, and one sister, Mabel M. Austin. He was predeceased by his wife, Mayfield Davis Miller and his parents, Nellie Lambeth and Robert Ingram Miller. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Saturday in Walnut Grove United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday in Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough. Walkersfuneralservice.com
