Frances Holsomback

Chapel Hill - Frances Guess Holsomback, 97, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015. Frances was born in Durham County, NC, July 12, 1917 to the late Minnie Evans Guess and David Gaston Guess. She was preceded in death by her brothers Gaston Guess and A. Lester Guess. Frances was a retired beautician who worked in Durham for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte H. Cheek (husband Kenneth), granddaughters, Kimberly C. Edmonds (husband Dale), Amy C. Riley (husband Don), great-grandchildren, Kristen Edmonds, Davis Edmonds, Thomas Riley, Olivia Riley and one niece, Kathy G. Ervin. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 3:30 PM at the Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery on Legion Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27515. Walkersfuneralservice.com
