Evie Price

Hillsborough- Evie Eugene Price, 79, died May 20, 2016. He was born in Alabama and moved to Durham in the 1950's. He worked at Erwin Mill and Coca-Cola in Durham and at Cone Mills in Hillsborough. Later he worked for the City of Durham from which he retired. He enjoyed motor cycles, fishing, the outdoors, and family. Surviving are his daughter, Pamela P. Elliott, his son, David Price, his sister, LuJane P. Irving, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Yvonne, one daughter, his parents, and one brother. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Thursday in Walker's Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at a later date. Walkersfuneralservice.com
