Evelyn Rimmer

Hillsborough - Mrs. Evelyn Gray Cox Rimmer, 87, died Sunday, April 9, 2017. She was a native of Orange County and attended the Orange County schools. She was employed at Cone Mills. She was a member of Wayside Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed her home, church, and time with her family. Surviving are her daughter Debbie R. Anderson and spouse, Mickey Anderson, granddaughters, Amber and Ashley Anderson, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Howard, her parents, Tessie and Robert Cox, two brothers, and two sisters. Visitation will be 11 AM to 12 PM Wednesday at Wayside Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in the Hillsborough Town Cemetery. The family requests in lieu of flowers to please send donations to the Duke Hospice- HOCK Family Pavilion in her memory at 4023 N. Roxboro St., Durham, NC 27704.
