Evelyn Neville

Mrs. Evelyn Smith Neville, 80, died Monday afternoon at Capitol Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Raleigh, NC. Mrs. Neville was born and raised in Orange County. She was a very Godly woman, loving her family, and her church. Reading her Bible daily, and attending church functions were two of her passions. She was a member of Hillsborough Church of God for the past 20 years. Mrs. Neville is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jack Wallace Neville; her daughter, Connie Crawford, and her husband, Doc, of Chapel Hill, NC; her son, Timothy Neville, and his wife, Judith, of Shelby, NC; brother, Everette Smith, of Mebane, NC; brother-in-law, Garland Neville, and his wife, Virginia, of Chatham County, NC; grandchildren, Travis Rives, and his wife, Samantha, Andrew Crawford, and his wife Megan, Michael Neville, Thomas Neville; great grandchildren, Chase, Colton, Connor, Carson, and Miranda. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 2:00 pm, in the Hillsborough Church of God, 2412 NC 86, Hillsborough, NC, with the Pastor Ralph Dale Morgan officiating. Burial followed in Westwood Cemetery, Carrboro. The Neville family is under the care of Walker's Funeral Home of Chapel Hill.
