Ernest Gregory

Carl Gregory, 88 01/17/17 Ernest "Carl" Gregory, 88, of Durham North Carolina passed away Tuesday, January 17,2017. Carl was born April 13, 1928 to Jackson and Lelia Gregory in the Lumberton\Fayetteville NC area. He was most proud of his service to his country as a US NAVY veteran. Carl was preceded in death by his wife, Merle Joyce Gregory, 01/19/12. He is survived by two sons, Ernest "Ernie" Gregory and wife Sharon, Robert "Buck" Gregory and friend Gail Conner, three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Carl was employed for 30+ years by Carolina Trailways. He loved talking to people on the bus and taking them on Charter bus trips all over the country. The Charter trips became so popular, Carl started "Carl's Tours". A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, January, 01/23/17 at Walker Funeral Home 204, North Churton Street,Hillsborough NC27278.
