Emily Mcadoo Giovani

Emily McAdoo Giovani passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family and dog, Maggie, on October 10th, 2024. Emily was born and raised in Greensboro, NC, and a graduate of Page High School. Emily obtained her B.S. from Appalachian State University. In life, Emily lived in Charlottesville VA, Pittsburgh PA, Mebane NC, and Carolina Beach NC. She enjoyed traveling, the beach life, her dogs and cats, cooking, fishing, decorating, volunteer work, drawing, reading, and spending time with her family.

Emily is survived by her two sons: Oakes Giovani and Jett Giovani, her husband Craig Giovani, her sister Ashley McAdoo, and her father Halstead McAdoo. Emily was preceded in death by her mother, Cynthia McAdoo.

Emily will be travelling with family one last time before being buried in Greensboro, NC in a private ceremony.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Emily Giovani's name to: Humane Society of Alamance County.
