Mrs. Terrell was born on March 28, 1931 in Halifax County, VA to the late Maude Vaughn Riddle and widow of the late Vernell Terrell. She was preceded in death by a daughter: Patricia Terrell; and sons: Larry and Eugene Terrell and Hugh and Edward Jones. Surviving are her sons: Mark Terrell of Chapel Hill and James Terrell of Hurdle Mills; sisters; Virginia Williams and Shelby Jean Bowers, both of Hillsborough, and Mable of Burlington; brother: J.W. Riddle of Mebane; 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren also survives. The family will receive friends from 12-1:45 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2012 with services by the Rev. John Gaither following at 2 p.m. at Walker's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Hillsborough Town Cemetery.
