Edward Rodekohr

Mr. Edward Sinclair Rodekohr, age 92, of Chapel Hill, NC, passed away Wednesday morning, January 6, 2016 at his home. He was born April 13, 1922 in Corder, Missouri, the only child of the late Edward and Mabel Vandevort Rodekohr. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Europe during World War II. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri, and was awarded his Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Delaware. He retired from DuPont after 35 years of dedicated service, and was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Mohler Rodekohr. He is survived by 2 sons, Mark Rodekohr and wife Carol of Oakton, Virginia and Eric Rodekohr of Sunset, Louisiana; one daughter, Barbara Rodekohr of Finksburg, Maryland, as well as 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandhcildren. The family will have a graveside service at 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 16, 2016 in Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery on Legion Road with Rev. Will Rose, pastor of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating.
