Dorothy Meierdiercks

Graham- Dorothy Marie Mitchel Meierdiercks, 77, died Saturday, February 11, 2017. She was a native of New York where she graduated from the New York school system and attended the College of Nursing. She married Al Meierdiercks, Sr., In 1980 they moved to North Carolina to work at Walker's Funeral Home in Chapel Hill until retirement in 2001. He enjoyed working with families and making new friends. Surviving are one daughter, Marie M. Tolliver (Paul), two sons: Leo Meierdiercks and Alfred Meierdiercks, Jr. (Jenny), and eight grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, her parents, one granddaughter, and one brother, John Mitchel, Jr. The memorial service will be held at a later time. Walkersfuneralservice.com
