Dorothy Levinson

Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Gittins Harper Levinson, 94, passed away on January 11, 2018 at the Carillon Assisted Living in Hillsborough. Dorothy was born in Sydney, Australia on June 10, 1923 to the late Henry Francis and Dorothy Clare Gittins. She was preceded in death by her husband William Harper and late husband Sidney Levinson. Dorothy was a devoted and loving wife, a great mother and friend to many and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her two sons, Brian Gittins Harper and wife Ann of Durham and Kenneth John Harper of Manahawkin, NJ. Three grandchildren, Alex Harper of Boston, Alina Harper, and Jason Harper and wife Abilene of California. Niece, Barbara Harper of NY and step daughter, Carol Harper of Florida. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215. The family will be holding a private Celebration of Life. Walkers Funeral Home of Hillsborough is serving the Levinson family.
