Dorothy 'Dot' Hall Holloway

Mrs. Dorothy 'Dot' Hall Holloway, 96, born on February 19, 1926 of Hillsborough, NC peacefully passed at 5:28 p.m. on Saturday, May 7th, 2022.



She was proceeded in death by her husband, Bill Holloway; her father and mother, Leroy and Eleanor Hall; her brothers, Leroy Hall JR, Warren Hall, Robert Hall, David Hall and her sister, Mary Copeland.



She graduated in 1943 from Hillsborough High School and later worked, and retired, at Sperry Rand for 32 years. She was a devoted wife and loved her family more than anything. She was a faithful member at Fairview Baptist in Hillsborough, NC. She loved collecting glassware and you could always find her in her garden. Prior to her passing, she stated that the secret to a long life was by surrounding herself with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.



She is survived by her sister, Betsy Hall; by her sons, Billy Holloway (Donna) and Mike Holloway (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Shannon Moran (EJ), Chad Holloway (Stephanie), Nicholas Holloway (Cristin), Micah Holloway (Jaynie) and by her great grandchildren, Rylee, Hayden, Colten, Camden, and Kennedi.



The visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 10th from 5pm -7pm at Walker's Funeral Home in Hillsborough, NC. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 11th at 11am at Fairview Baptist Church in Hillsborough, NC with interment at Pleasant Green United Methodist Church in Durham, NC.



The family will be receiving friends and family after the graveside service at the home of Dorothy 'Dot' Hall Holloway - 1000 US 70 W Hillsborough, NC.
